MADRID LUXURY DISTRICT OPENS ITS 4TH EDITION WITH BALTASAR LOBO AS THE STAR

The Madrid Luxury District (MLD) opens the fourth edition of Madrid Luxury Art on September 24th , an event that brings art to the urban space of the Golden Mile in the Salamanca district. Under the cultural management and curatorship of AGM Art Management , this year's event pays tribute to the sculptor Baltasar Lobo (Zamora, 1910 – Paris, 1993), one of the most influential figures in 20th-century modern sculpture.

The exhibition, curated by María Luz Cárdenas , brings together seven large-format sculptures distributed along Ortega y Gasset and Serrano streets, as well as nearly 20 small- and medium-format pieces that can be seen in interior spaces in the area.

The tour offers a comprehensive overview of Lobo's career, from her earliest works to her most mature creations, always marked by the exploration of the female body and motherhood . Her style, characterized by stylized forms and moving lines, gives her sculptures a dimension that dialogues with music and dance in public spaces.

With this new edition, Madrid Luxury Art consolidates its commitment to bringing art to the city and transforming the Golden Mile into an open-air cultural venue.
