Antonio Carbonell, the dancer El Yiyo and the guitarist Pepe Montoyita, great international figures of flamenco, will mark the passage of the models on the museum patio. And they will do it to the rhythm of the martinete, an ancient flamenco stick that was born in the forges and that treasures the memory of the blacksmith's blows on the metal, symbolizing time. Antonio will perform The Little Clock, a poem by León Felipe to which Enrique Morente set music. At the end, the models will continue parading along Serrano Street and Puerta de Alcalá.

A careful staging that will have the assistance and participation of 20 outstanding designers:

The city of Madrid and its Madrid is Fashion project have been chosen as the setting for this demand due to the solid support shown to designer fashion during these years.

PROGRAM MADRID IS FASHION

Collection presentations return to Madrid es Moda, where the designers themselves explain to the public their proposals for the next season, unpublished collections and/or capsules in unique spaces.

A unique format in Spain highly valued by designers, who can interact with their clients in a close and creative way. For example, Juan Duyos will present at the headquarters of ES Fascinante, a reference portal for national slow fashion with a close and long-standing relationship with MeM; Esther Noriega will organize an authentic shooting show with three fashion photographers and a powerful professional team that the public will be able to follow live; Encinar will recreate a haute couture after-dinner meal in the Red Room of the Santo Mauro Hotel and We Are Spastor will opt for a groundbreaking exhibition format. Very special will also be the presentation of the new Pertegaz bag, created by Héctor Jareño, in which a Japanese tea ceremony will be recreated, which is the inspiration for the house's new piece of leather goods.

Also essential for this MeM, the collective show by Elena Morales, Pedro Palmas and Arcadio, designers from Gran Canaria Moda Cálida; that of Devota & Lomba, in the SGAE gardens; Beatriz Peñalver's at Serrería Belga; the one from Evade House at the Usera Market stalls or the one from The Extreme Collection on the terrace of the Wellington Hotel.

The Acromatyx and Duarte by Crusset pop ups will be another must-see stop this September.

Also added to this MeM is the point Perssa'm

We will also know the results of the ACME report Spanish fashion design in figures 2022. X-ray of the Fashion Creators Association of Spain in an event at the Belga Sawmill in which Modesto Lomba, president of ACME, Pepa Bueno, executive director of ACME, and Iria Pérez Gestal, director of Modaes.

Madrid es Moda has established itself as the project that best represents Spanish designer fashion through the values of slow fashion. A lively initiative, of which the entire fashion community is a part and which is committed to the current guidelines that mark the sector: new ways of presenting and consuming fashion away from the confinement of the seasons. Madrid es Moda welcomes and supports these new formats and their designers without losing its objective: to continue bringing Spanish designer fashion, unique in the world, closer to the final public, to continue promoting its knowledge and consumption.

In this edition, NARS, one of the most recognized makeup brands worldwide and responsible for the beauty looks of the presentations, repeats as official partner. The hairdressing looks will be designed by GOLDWELL, a German professional hairdressing firm from Kao Salon Division.

MeM will also be possible thanks to the collaboration of the National Archaeological Museum and the Belgian Sawmill, a cultural reference in the city of Madrid and venue for a large number of the events.
