MADRID LIVE CELEBRATES THE INTERNATIONAL JAZZ DAY 2024 WITH A BATTERY OF CONCERTS

Celebrated by UNESCO, April 30 marks International Jazz Day, a date revered by music lovers around the world. Madrid en Vivo, along with its vibrant jazz venues and clubs, joins the commemoration with an exciting series of concerts scheduled from April 26 to May 5. This event not only celebrates the anniversary, but also highlights the diversity and quality of the jazz scene in the Spanish capital.

The INTERNATIONAL JAZZ DAY 2024 cycle, officially recognized by UNESCO and the Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz, promoted by Madrid en Vivo, promises to be a spectacular event. From Friday, April 26 to Sunday, May 5 , more than 15 performances will fill 10 rooms in the capital with the magic of jazz. The complete lineup, which will include both national and international artists, will be revealed shortly. Furthermore, in this edition, the programming will receive special attention through Radio Callao, the official station of IJD2024 .

With INTERNATIONAL JAZZ DAY 2024, Madrid en Vivo not only celebrates music, but also highlights the city's role as the epicenter of jazz, both nationally and internationally. Additionally, the event seeks to attract new audiences to this unique art form. In an effort to promote gender equality, women will be given visibility in the music scene and new talents and emerging trends will be supported.
