Madrid is preparing to host, once again, the long-awaited Contemporary Art Week from March 6 to 10, a renowned event that attracts collectors, art lovers and prominent personalities in the cultural field. This 2024 promises to be one of the busiest editions in years, with a display of fairs and events that embrace all forms of artistic expression, with the aim of highlighting the diversity of contemporary art.
ARCO Madrid 2024: A window to global art
The 43rd edition of the ARCO Madrid Fair will bring together 205 galleries from 36 countries at IFEMA MADRID, highlighting the 35% participation of Spanish galleries. From March 6 to 10, pavilions 7 and 9 of the Fairgrounds will become the epicenter of international contemporary art, with special hours for professionals on the 6th and 7th, and access to the general public on the 8th, 9th and 10th .
Hybrid Art Fair 2024: Artistic innovation in hotel rooms
In its eighth edition, the Hybrid Art Fair redefines the artistic experience by moving to hotel rooms. From March 7 to 10, the Hotel Petit Palace Santa Bárbara will be the setting for innovative proposals of contemporary art. Hours vary, opening every day at 11:00, and entry prices range between 10 and 12.50 euros.
UVNT Art Fair 2024: Change of location for Avant-garde Art
The UVNT (Urvanity) fair celebrates its 8th edition with a change of venue to the Matadero Madrid space. From March 7 to 10, under a 3,000 square meter tent, it will host 38 exhibitors and offer a unique experience in New Contemporary Art. Ticket prices vary from 11.25 to 21.49 euros, with extended hours for the public on the 8th, 9th and 10th.
Art Madrid 2024: Social criticism and international art at the Cristal Gallery
The 19th edition of Art Madrid will take place at the CentroCentro Cibeles Crystal Gallery. From Wednesday to Sunday, March 6-10, it will offer art exhibitions, curated tours and a look at the studios of participating artists. Admission prices are 16 euros for adults and 12 euros for students, retirees and the unemployed.
JustMad 2024: A link with Latin American art
The 15th edition of JustMad, from March 7 to 10 at the Palacio Neptuno, stands out for its direct connection with the Latin American art scene. With more than 40 exhibitors, this fair offers a unique experience in the world of contemporary art, with entry prices of 17 euros and reduced to 12 euros for students.
SAM 2024: Modern art exhibition at the Carlos de Antwerp Foundation
The 7th edition of the Modern Art Salon 2024 will be held at the Carlos de Antwerp Foundation. With 16 exhibitors and more than 400 proposals, the fair will be open from March 7 to 10, with entry prices of 10 euros.
