MADRID TAKES A STEP TOWARDS SUSTAINABLE MOBILITY WITH THE ARRIVAL OF ZEWAY

The Spanish capital is joining the revolution of sustainable urban mobility with the arrival of ZEWAY, an innovative electric motorcycle solution with an instant battery exchange system. This proposal seeks to transform personal transport in cities, offering a clean, efficient and economical alternative in the midst of the growing climate emergency affecting many cities in the country.

ZEWAY 's main innovation lies in its network of battery swapping stations, which allow users to recharge their electric scooters in just 50 seconds. This system eliminates the main drawbacks of electric mobility, such as limited battery autonomy and long recharging times. ZEWAY's network in Madrid is in full deployment and already has stations in strategic locations such as O'Donnell, Recoletos, Canalejas and several public markets.

With this initiative, ZEWAY hopes to help reduce polluting emissions from two-wheeled vehicles, which are estimated to be ten times more polluting than gasoline-powered cars. In addition to not emitting harmful gases, ZEWAY electric motorcycles also reduce noise pollution, with a noise level significantly lower than that of traditional motorcycles.
