MADRID CRAFT WEEK 2024: HANDMADE CHRISTMAS

From November 21 to December 1, Madrid becomes the epicenter of craftsmanship and design with a new edition of Madrid Craft Week 2024 - Xmas Edition , an event that celebrates artisan tradition and contemporary trends.

Madrid Craft Week takes place in the most emblematic neighbourhoods of Madrid, such as Las Letras, Chueca or El Rastro, with the participation of more than 250 fashion, decoration, art and gastronomy shops . The aim of this event is to celebrate authenticity and hand-made work , highlighting the best of local commerce, sustainability and responsible consumption.

Scheduled activities include workshops on ceramics, wicker and metal, as well as exhibitions of contemporary artisanal design and presentations of collections. In addition, attendees will be able to discover local businesses and participate in activities that highlight traditional artisanal techniques reinterpreted with a modern approach.

The historic Fernán Núñez Palace will host the IV Edition of the Madrid Craft Week Awards , which celebrate the commitment to artisanal creation, respect for materials and the talent of artisans.

The palace will also be the setting for “ The Craft Gallery ”, a free exhibition that brings together pieces by renowned artisans, young talents and international firms. Among the most notable names are Suma Cruz, Mint&Rose, Capas Seseña, Javier Sánchez Medina, and many more.
