The MAD Madrid Digital Arts center , renowned for its innovative immersive exhibitions on Klimt, Tutankhamun, and the final days of Pompeii, is preparing to premiere its latest and most ambitious production. Starting today, September 12, 2024, MAD will present a unique experience based on the iconic ocean liner Titanic , offering a detailed look at its history and fateful voyage.

This new show, entitled “ Titanic, the immersive exhibition ”, will transport visitors to the luxurious and mythical ship, allowing them to explore its spaces and relive the crucial moments of the journey that ended tragically on the night of 14-15 April 1912. Madrid will be the first city in the world to host this unique experience, which promises to surpass any film or documentary made about the Titanic to date.

Thanks to cutting-edge technology and advances in immersive exhibition science, visitors will be able to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the Titanic in an unprecedented way. The exhibition faithfully recreates the details of the ocean liner, from its majestic construction to the final moments of its sinking. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience first-hand what life on board was like and the events that led to its tragic outcome.

The MAD centre, the largest in Spain for digital experiences, has a vast 2000 m² facility and 1200 m² of immersive digital reality screens. In addition, it has a 300 m² metaverse room and a virtual reality room , offering the public free and complete interaction with the space. This advanced infrastructure allows for total immersion, making visitors feel as if they were really on board the Titanic.



The exhibition tour includes the chance to see the different types of cabins, the luxurious lounges and the common areas of the ship. You will also be able to experience the impact of the iceberg and the chaos that followed the collision, experiencing the anguish and heroism of the passengers and crew. The exhibition is designed to be both educational and emotional, providing a deep understanding of the event and its historical implications.
