MAD COOL 2025 UNVEILS ITS MOST AMBITIOUS LINEUP EVER: OLIVIA RODRIGO, MUSE, IGGY POP, ALANIS MORISSETTE AND MORE THAN 70 ARTISTS

From July 10 to 13, Madrid will become the epicenter of international music with a historic edition of the festival.
Mad Cool Festival 2025 , one of the world's most prominent music events, will celebrate its eighth edition from July 10th to 12th at the Iberdrola Music venue in Madrid. The already buzzing lineup includes big names such as Olivia Rodrigo , Muse , Alanis Morissette , Iggy Pop , Noah Kahan , Weezer , Nine Inch Nails , Justice , Gracie Abrams , Thirty Seconds to Mars and many more.
As a major new feature, this year the festival is adding an extra day: Brunch Electronik x Mad Cool , which will take place on Sunday, July 13 and will be dedicated to the best of electronic music. The lineup for this day includes Peggy Gou , Jungle (DJ Set) , Mau P , and Macarena Hoffmann , in a brand-new lineup that promises to close the festival with a vibrant experience.
A luxury lineup headed by Olivia Rodrigo
American artist Olivia Rodrigo , winner of three Grammy Awards, will be one of the festival's main stars. Her global success with "Drivers License" and songs from her acclaimed second album, "Guts," such as "Vampire " and " Get Him Back!" , will thrill the Madrid crowd.
Expected returns and rock legends
The iconic British band Muse returns to Mad Cool after their 2022 performance, replacing Kings of Leon. This will be their only confirmed date in Spain as part of their European tour. Iggy Pop , the legendary "Godfather of Punk," will also be joining the band with a classic-filled show.
Alanis Morissette will return to Madrid to pay tribute to her iconic album Jagged Little Pill (1995), which defined a generation with anthems such as You Oughta Know . Meanwhile, Thirty Seconds to Mars , the band led by Jared and Shannon Leto, will review their career with their new album It's the End of the World But It's a Beautiful Day .

A festival with history
Since its debut in 2016, Mad Cool Festival has featured landmark performances from artists such as The Cure , Neil Young , Depeche Mode , Arctic Monkeys , Green Day , The Who , and Foo Fighters . In 2018, it received the NME Award for Best Lineup of the Year , cementing itself as one of Europe's most important festivals.
