Latina hosts “Infinite Adolescence”, a play about growing up (and surviving)
2026/03/17
Endless Adolescence poses a question that resonates with us all: what do we remember of our adolescence? This intense stage, "full of life and destruction," becomes the starting point for a theatrical piece that views adolescence as a profound process of transformation, marked by fragility, conflict, and contradiction. The production, by the Pont Flotant company, constructs a universe as fascinating as it is unsettling, inviting the audience to observe and recognize themselves in its light and shadow.
From an adult perspective, the show blends humor, irony, and tenderness with meticulous set design, live music, and a strong emotional charge: three performers attempt to understand contemporary adolescence and their own by recreating everyday situations filtered through prejudices, memories, and unresolved questions. The play is part of the participatory project "On the Margins: Neighborhood Theater Festival," a series through which 21 Districts brings contemporary theater to neighborhoods during the second half of March. The performance is recommended for ages 12 and up.
In practical terms, the performance will take place on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., at the Paco de Lucía Cultural Center (Latina), in Las Águilas, located at Avenida de Las Águilas, 2 (28044 Madrid). The performance will last approximately 85 minutes, admission is free until capacity is reached, and the venue is wheelchair accessible.
