For yet another year, the Madrid City Council collaborates with the Fashion Creators Association (ACME) to dress the streets of the city with the luminous designs of some of the Spanish fashion creators .

Through their talent and professionalism, different designers such as Maya Hansen, Teresa Helbig, Juan Duyos, Juan Vidal, Devota & Lomba, or Andrés Sardá , have created a series of Christmas lights that fill the commercial, fashionable, and hope.

CHRISTMAS LIGHTS & SPANISH FASHION

Last Christmas, both visitors and residents were able to enjoy different proposals. The firm Andrés Sardá created one of Antonio Azzato's Meninas with a bustier, tontillo and a skirt made with 37,720 light bulbs. On this occasion, the flirtatious Menina dressed as a bride can be seen on the Paseo de Madrid. The jewels of Juan Duyos also return to Calle Goya, transmitting strong optimism and joy, and the precious fir tree created by Devota & Lomba returns to Puerta del Sol, recovering, as its creator Modesto Lomba said: the memory of a classic Christmas.

This year there are new proposals created by other big names in Spanish fashion. Teresa Helbig decorates Calle Fuencarral with a design made with lemurs that, in the words of the creator, serve to celebrate "mischief, innate sensitivity and intelligence, the sixth sense, freedom and femininity".

Juan Vidal places a red heart on Calle Preciados that for him has a clear and powerful message of "infinite and unconditional love, it is a greater objective that unites and gives direction to our existence", explains the designer. For her part, Maya Hansen , who has been inspired by the world of skating and this design that can be seen in the central Montera street , shows reindeer, ice skates and her characteristic corset.
