The Extraordinary Chair of Commerce of the University of Alcalá, in collaboration with the City Council of Madrid, has organized a series of webinars aimed at merchants and entrepreneurs in the retail sector. This initiative aims to provide key tools and knowledge to boost the competitiveness of small businesses in a constantly evolving environment.

First webinar: Social marketing in small businesses

The first online meeting, entitled Social Marketing in Small Business , will be held on Wednesday, March 26 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The presentation will be given by Araceli Galiano Coronil, professor of Social Marketing at the University of Cádiz and member of the International University Network of Happiness. During the session, strategies and good practices will be discussed so that small businesses can generate a positive impact on society and build customer loyalty through social commitment.

Second webinar: Evolution of retail trade: keys to adapt and grow

The second webinar, entitled Evolution of retail trade: keys to adapt and grow , will take place on Wednesday, April 23 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The session will be led by Sebastián Molinillo, professor of Marketing and Market Research and director of the Chair of Commerce and Digital Transformation at the University of Malaga and El Corte Inglés. In this talk, the evolution of retail trade will be analyzed and tools will be offered to face the current challenges of the sector, promoting innovation and digitalization.
