FASHION HITS THE STREET: VINTALOGY SUMMER 2022 SHOW AT EL RASTRO
2022/05/27
Coinciding with a new edition of "Los sábados del Rastro", on Saturday May 21, Vintalogy, in collaboration with the Nuevo Rastro merchants association and the Madrid City Council, through the General Directorate of Commerce and Hospitality and its Todo Está en Madrid program once again offers a fashion collection with a common denominator: all the garments and accessories that will be exhibited are second-hand.
35 young Spaniards (from Málaga, Castellón, the Basque Country, Albacete, Madrid...) and foreigners (Colombia, Brazil, the Philippines, Chile, Venezuela, Germany or Bulgaria) will leave our store on Calle Arganzuela 18 parading through Calles Arganzuela and Callejón del Mellizo, cut off by the Madrid City Council for the occasion.
Among the models there are two young Ukrainian women, Daria Shchorba and Anna Korinenko, the latter, welcomed in Madrid as a refugee.
Most of the models are from the Fama Agency and the Wosap Urban Dance School , so part of the parade will take place...dancing!
Among all of them, there are also fashion designers like Juan Varela, music producers like Jaime Nadel AKA Lágrima, choreographers like Kevin López and Tony Gabarry, singers like Aret, parkour experts like Javier Artola and actors, dancers and poets.
Makeup and hairdressing will be carried out by the Alberto Dugarte Institute.
The music has been composed and will be performed live by trumpeter Agu González.
All the garments that will be exhibited are second-hand and almost new, with prices ranging from 20 euros for vintage garments without a recognized brand to an old Louis Vuitton briefcase for 4,500 euros.
The parade is inspired by current urban trends: from Bud Bunny, through Rosalía to the purest style of the Barrio de Salamanca in Madrid.
After the parade, clothes and accessories can be bought at a small party courtesy of Mahou.
