June arrives loaded with cultural events that promise to captivate all residents and visitors of Ciudad Lineal, one of the most vibrant and diversified neighborhoods in the Spanish capital. With a varied and exciting programme, this month offers a wide range of activities for all tastes and ages. From theatrical shows to outdoor concerts, art exhibitions and much more, Ciudad Lineal's June cultural agenda is designed to excite, inspire and entertain the entire community.
PRINCE OF ASTURIAS CULTURAL CENTER
"Dadadoo" by CÍA. La Clá ( Saturday, June 1 ): Immerse yourself in a sound and visual journey through the jungle and the sea in this unique experience offered by the La Clá company. Featuring travelers big and small, this show celebrates diversity and possibility. An unmissable opportunity to enjoy with the family!
"Omar Acosta Duo: Caribbean Rhythms & Jazz" ( Friday, June 7 ): Enjoy a night full of Caribbean rhythms and jazz led by the renowned musician Omar Acosta and his companion. This fusion of sounds promises a unique musical experience that will delight all attendees.
"La Troje Folk" ( Saturday, June 8 ): Let yourself be carried away by the rhythms of Galician, Castilian-Leonese and Irish folk music with this trio composed of Irene Lume, Diego Aragón and Kike M. Enjoy the passion and talent of these musicians while exploring the roots of traditional music.
"Flamenco Recital by Jesús Chozas" ( Friday, June 28 ): Live the intensity and passion of flamenco with the veteran Jesús Matías Solano "Jesús Chozas". Accompanied by the guitar of Pablo San Nicasio, this recital promises an exciting journey through the most risky styles of flamenco.
"Mago Rubén Muñoz" ( Saturday, June 29 ): Prepare to be surprised by the magic and talent of the illusionist Rubén Muñoz. With his captivating and emotion-filled show, Rubén Muñoz creates unforgettable memories and unites people through magic.
We also added the Annual Student Exhibition ( Saturday, June 15, 11:00 a.m. ): Join us to celebrate the achievements of our talented students in a variety of artistic disciplines. From acting to dance and music, this event promises to surprise and excite all who attend.
Children's Festival ( Thursday, June 20, 5:00 p.m. ): Join us on a journey of fun and entertainment at our Children's Festival! With performances specially designed for the little ones, this festival will be an unforgettable experience for the whole family.
SAN JUAN BAUTISTA CULTURAL CENTER
Sangre ( Saturday, June 1, 7:00 p.m. ): An oriental fusion dance and theater show that celebrates feminine power and the connection with nature. Discover the genetic inheritance of all women on a journey full of strength and harmony.
Lunares en el Alma ( Friday, June 7, 7:00 p.m.) : Raquel del Pino captivates us with her personal project, combining her talent as a singer and guitarist in an exciting Spanish music show.
Jane and Rachel ( Saturday, June 8, 6:50 p.m. ): Inspired by the lives of Jane Goodall and Rachel Carson, this play immerses us in the incredible story of two pioneering scientists in the fight for the environment. A story of friendship, discovery and activism.
Dusted ( Friday, June 14, 7:75 p.m. ): Join a family of women as they face a grief that triggers a series of personal revelations. A moving work that reflects on love, loss and family connection.
Lucía Ropero ( Saturday, June 15, 7:00 p.m. ): Enjoy a unique concert with the talented Sevillian singer and guitarist, Lucía Ropero, who will delight us with her flamenco art and her powerful voice.
End-of-course activities for CC San Juan Bautista students : From June 3 to 28, there will be the exhibition of the Cultural Center's workshops, where a sample of the work carried out by students throughout the 2023-2024 academic year is collected. And on Thursday the 27th at 7:00 p.m. the students of the theater workshop will perform the play “Delicadas” by Agustín Sanzol.

Flores Negras, Cuatro Voces en Tango ( Saturday, June 1, 7:00 p.m. ): Enjoy the talent of the female tango vocal quartet from Buenos Aires in a unique presentation. With a wide repertoire of Astor Piazzolla and his latest album, "Maldito Tango", these artists will transport you to the essence of Argentine tango.
Visible Spectrum - S.Ese.Art Exhibition ( June 3-28 ): Immerse yourself in the fascinating artistic exploration of S.Ese.Art through acrylic paint canvases and digital drawing. Discover how the combination of these techniques offers a unique visual experience that challenges our perception.
Ars Melodica - La Verbena de las Zarzuelas ( Saturday, June 8, 7:00 p.m. ): Let yourself be carried away on a festive journey through the most emblematic romances and duets of Spanish zarzuelas. Ars Melodica invites you to enjoy a night full of music and joy.
Norma - Reflections Through Dance ( Friday, June 14, 7:70 p.m.) : Join the critical reflection on the concept of normality through contemporary dance. The Antonio Ruz dance company will take you on an emotional journey that questions our perception of identity and acceptance.
Partichela Choir - Crossing Borders with Music ( Saturday, June 15, 7:00 p.m. ): Enjoy an inspiring concert that celebrates music's ability to break down barriers and unite cultures. Coro Partichela invites you on a musical journey that transcends time and space.

On Saturday, May 1 at 6:00 p.m. , the CIA. The Window Altarpiece presents "Puss in Boots," a captivating puppet recreation of Charles Perrault's classic tale. From " years, viewers will enjoy the cunning and bravery of the cat who transforms the poor miller's life into an exciting adventure.
On Saturday, May 8 at 7:00 p.m. , comes "How did we get here?" of the CIA. EDUCA POP , a show that combines music, social analysis and the hero's journey. From precariousness to hair overabundance, the heroes of this story invite us to reflect on the universal challenges of life.
On Saturday, May 15 at 6:50 p.m. , the CIA. Narra La Rosa presents "Niña Luna" , a moving story about a girl who observes life from the sky and dreams of dancing on Earth. From " years, viewers will accompany Niña Luna on her adventure full of discoveries and learnings.
On Saturday, May 22 at 6:50 p.m. , "The Three Little Pigs" from the CIA arrives. OKARINO TRAPISONDA , a classic story that teaches us about the importance of family and teamwork. From " years, children will enjoy this fun and educational performance.
And to close the month on Saturday, May 29 at 6:00 p.m. , don't miss "Pulga y Mina, a small and big surprise!!!" of the CIA. LUMINARA TEATRO, an endearing story about the importance of friendship and emotions. For ages " and up, this play promises to thrill and make the whole family laugh.
