From June 2 to 18, the IED Madrid Exhibition Hall, on Gran Vía, hosts Genius Loci, l'Umbria veste il mondo , an exhibition promoted by Inedita, cultura & empresa in collaboration with IED Madrid within the framework of Umbria26. The exhibition brings together for the first time in the city pieces and stories from three great references of Italian fashion: Brunello Cucinelli, Ellesse and Pino Lancetti.

The exhibition offers a journey through the creativity, entrepreneurship, and cultural identity of Umbria through three figures who have brought Italian design to the international stage, with an understanding of fashion linked to the land, artisanal excellence, and a profoundly human vision of creation. The initiative is part of Umbria26, an international project conceived to commemorate the eighth centenary of the death of Saint Francis of Assisi, which explores values such as harmony, creativity, beauty, and the connection between the spiritual and the everyday.

In parallel, on Friday, June 12th at 6:00 PM, the round table discussion "And Leonardo Created Ellesse" will take place, focusing on the figure of Leonardo Servadio, founder of the historic Italian sportswear brand. The event will feature Michela Angeletti, a direct descendant of the Servadio family, and Luca Manfredi, director of the biopic about the designer, currently in production in Italy and Spain.

The exhibition is free to enter, but prior registration is required to attend the round table discussion. More information is available on the official IED Madrid website .
