GRINCH HOUSE RETURNS TO MADRID WITH ITS MOST IRREVERENT AND CREATIVE CHRISTMAS MARKET

The rebellious spirit of Christmas returns to Carabanchel with the second edition of Grinch House , Madrid's coolest design market, which this year extends its duration to two days: Saturday, December 13 (11:00–20:00 h) and Sunday, December 14 (11:00–15:00 h) at c/ Belmonte del Tajo 61 .
Following last year's success, the Grinch has decided to emerge from his cave once again to approve one of the few Christmas plans that excite him: a market where haste, carols and consumerism are left out, and where design, crafts and unique proposals take center stage.
More than 20 unique brands for different gifts
The 2025 edition will bring together more than 20 design, craft, and fashion brands , combining 17 new projects with 7 returning labels that captivated audiences last Christmas. They all share the same philosophy: pieces made with care, intention, and personality, far removed from what is found in traditional stores. The price range—from €5 to €350 —makes Grinch House the perfect place to find original gifts for Santa Claus, Secret Santa, or the Three Kings.
Among the new discoveries are Groda , the artisanal project of actress and model Alba Galocha; AireaAire.Studio with its crowns and floral arrangements; the designer jewelry of Laura Armengol ; the domestic pieces in steel by designer Guille del Paso ; the hand-painted ceramics of Nuria Blanco ; the contemporary creations of Brenda Ranieri or the graphic publications of the risograph studio Arrrre .
In fashion, the selection includes unisex vintage from YELLOW&STONE , unique pieces from 2024 Vogue Fashion Fund winner Tíscar Espadas , hand-knitted accessories from Carmen Peraita , children's striped mesh fashion, artisanal leather goods from MUSA , and the coveted socks from Slow Socks . Adding a playful touch are Tattoonie , with temporary tattoos, and LUCE BCN , arriving from Barcelona with dental jewelry to sparkle during the holidays.

Seven brands return to Grinch House after the success achieved in the previous edition: Kauani 's hand-woven lamps; 33 Jabones ' artisanal soaps; Querida Maida 's collaborative process bags; Pampa Candles ' soy wax candles; The(BEEMINE)Laboratory 's green cosmetics; TARG 's textile pieces, made with deadstock and artisanal fabrics; and MOC Studio 's nature-inspired fashion.
An event born from design, friendship, and a touch of Grinch spirit
Grinch House is a project by Selina Feduchi , an architect; Bárbara de Benito , a health innovation specialist; and Sara Coriat , an artistic director and coordinator of a contemporary art fair. These three friends share a passion for design, crafts, and good food, and decided to create an event that breaks away from traditional Christmas formulas, focusing instead on young brands and emerging talent. It's a place to see, touch, and discover projects growing within the vibrant creative community of Carabanchel , one of Madrid's most dynamic neighborhoods.
This second edition promises to become a must-have for those looking for unique gifts, to support local creators, and to experience a Christmas with a healthy dose of irreverence… very much in the style of the Grinch.
