FLAMENCO CAPITAL: Complete programming of the off cycle of Flamenco Madrid 2023

Teatro Flamenco Madrid, Teatro Tablao Flamenco Torero, Tablao Flamenco 1911, Cardamomo, Café Berlín and BarCo will be the nuclei of the flamenco cycle organized by Madrid en Vivo, which will take place between Monday 15 and Saturday 27 May. Discover the route here.
FLAMENCO THEATER MADRID
Although it is also part of the official programming, the Teatro Flamenco Madrid , as a member of Madrid en Vivo, has also seen fit to join the off cycle of Flamenco Madrid 2023: FLAMENCO CAPITAL . They offer their more than contrasted flamenco show: Emotions, on Monday 15 and Wednesday 24 May . Nor could they miss the Concerts of the Círculo Flamenco in Madrid. On this occasion, with Luis Perdiguero and Nono Reyes remembering the figure of Francisco Vargas 'Tío Paulera' , on Thursday , May 25 .
TABLAO FLAMENCO BULLFIGHTER THEATER
The tablao on Calle de la Cruz has organized a series of activities and performances of the most varied kind for FLAMENCO CAPITAL. Among them, some as interesting as the round tables “The origin of flamenco: present and future” with the guitarist Carlos Orgaz , on May 15 ; and “Flamenco according to the flamencos” , on Monday , May 22 , given by the journalist Luis Ybarra . To these are added the workshop “How to see flamenco” and the conference “The musical system of flamenco” . The practical vision of these colloquiums can be enjoyed in the Torero flamenco show, Essential Flamenco, on Thursday 18 and Friday 26 May. All this under the direction of Juan 'El Mistela' .
Continuing with his eclectic programming, Torero has brought together in the cycle different current flamenco figures as essential as the voice of Guadiana , on Friday the 19th at Noches Flamencas . The Flamenco Nights continue on Saturday the 20th with the Flamenco Party with Yona Heredia and Kike Losasda . And they will continue the following weekend with Antonio Sánchez, Manuel Cazas and Saúl Quirós remembering Paco de Lucía on Thursday, May 25 ; and Rafa, Miguel and Juanma Rubio remembering Los Rubios on Saturday the 27th . For those who are not willing to stay up all night and are passionate about the figure of Federico García Lorca, they will be able to discover the most flamenco interpretation of hisGypsy Ballads at the Mónica Tello Flamenco Theater on the afternoon of Saturday, May 20 .
BERLIN COFFEE
The highly personal piano of Chico Pérez will resound loudly at the Café Berlín on Wednesday, May 17 . The young man from Jaén is one of the most recognized pianists of the moment on the flamenco-jazz scene. He returns to Madrid with his band in a concert in which he will tour the songs that make up his last two albums: Gruserías and Continente 27 . In addition, it will be accompanied by different collaborations that will make this night a unique concert. A music whose root is flamenco, but in which we will listen to jazz, blues or classical music.
FLAMENCO TABLE 1911
What was the historic tablao Villa Rosa , continues to honor its journey by giving its tables, now as Tablao Flamenco 1911 , to great current flamenco artists. At FLAMENCO CAPITAL, heel tapping at the oldest tablao in the world will have a female cadence with: Illeana Gómez on Monday 15 and Paula Rodríguez from Santander on Monday 22 May .
CARDAMOM
Continuing with the very high artistic level, the Cardamomo tablao adds three other great figures of flamenco dance to the program. Paula Rodríguez will be one of the stars of the opening day, on Monday the 15th, with her unique dance style, between the classic and the frenetic. On Tuesday the 23rd , Claudia Cruz from Cádiz will take over with her dance between classical and flamenco.
SHIP
On Sunday May 21 in the BarCo room, the singer Antonio de Manuela will demonstrate his alliance with the flamenco duende. He will be accompanied by the guitar of Roberto Monteiro and the dance of Soledad Gómez and Norberto Chamizo . All this under the direction of Sara Nieto .
