La Fábrica has announced Enrique Loewe Lynch as the winner of the third edition of the Alberto Anaut Prize, an award that recognizes professionals who have made decisive contributions to the development of culture in Spain from often invisible roles: patronage, production, management, or curating. The prize was awarded to him for his support of established artistic creation and emerging talent, as well as for his international reach and his contribution to the national cultural landscape in disciplines as diverse as poetry, performing arts, photography, and crafts.

A fourth-generation member of the Loewe family, Enrique Loewe Lynch (Madrid, 1941) was a key figure in the modernization and international expansion of the company, as well as a architect of its cultural identity. In 1988, he founded the Loewe Foundation to institutionalize the company's support for culture, promoting talent in music, poetry, and the performing arts. The Foundation's most historic initiative is the Loewe Poetry Prize, which for nearly four decades has boasted juries and patrons of the caliber of Francisco Brines, José Manuel Caballero Bonald, and Nobel laureates Octavio Paz and Mario Vargas Llosa. In 2002, the Foundation received the Gold Medal for Merit in Fine Arts from King Juan Carlos I. More recently, in 2016, the Foundation created the Craft Prize, an international award dedicated to contemporary crafts that supports artists whose work contributes to defining a new canon in this field.

The Alberto Anaut Prize was created in 2024 to honor the cultural manager and founder of La Fábrica, with the aim of recognizing those who work behind the scenes to strengthen culture in Spain. Alfonso Aijón, founder of Ibermúsica, and gallery owner Elvira González were the recipients of the first two awards. The prize will be presented at a ceremony on June 22 at the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid.
