“ENLIGHTENMENT” TRANSFORMS MADRID INTO A SENSORY JOURNEY THROUGH VIVALDI’S FOUR SEASONS

From 25 January 2025, " Enlightenment " is coming to Madrid, an immersive show that offers a unique reinterpretation of Vivaldi's Four Seasons, fusing classical music and technology. The German-Speaking Evangelical Community will be transformed into a luminous canvas to bring this artistic project to life.

“ Enlightenment ” takes Vivaldi ’s iconic work to a new level, uniting the majesty of the Baroque with technological avant-garde. Through state-of-the-art projections, the Italian composer’s music becomes a sensorial and philosophical journey that explores universal themes such as rebirth, introspection and transcendence.

The show, designed by Swiss collective PROJEKTIL , is structured in six acts each with a unique focus. Spring symbolises rebirth and hope, summer represents energy and warmth, autumn invites introspection and transition, and winter evokes melancholy.

The next act is Samsara , symbolizing the eternal flow of life, death and rebirth. The show culminates with Nirvana , an explosion of light and color celebrating enlightenment and freedom.

After triumphing in cities such as Liverpool, Marseille, Turin and Milan, “ Enlightenment ” lands in Madrid as part of its European tour, choosing as its setting the German-Speaking Evangelical Community , also known as Friedenskirche , the perfect setting for a show that celebrates the cycle of life and the connection between nature and spirituality.
