The Madrid Ice Palace hosts the 2023 Ice Hockey World Championship (Division II Group A)

The 2023 Ice Hockey World Championship (Division II Group A) is the biggest sporting event of the year for Spanish ice hockey, organized by the Royal Spanish Ice Sports Federation (RFEDH) under the umbrella of the International Ice Hockey Federation ( IIHF).

Madrid will host six nations between April 16 and 22 with the ambition of taking home gold and a promotion to Division I, where Spain was last in 2011.

The venue will be a recently remodeled facility for major competitions such as the Madrid Ice Rink .

The home crowd will be key to guiding the national team to victory.

The 2023 World Cup has the support of the Higher Sports Council (CSD), the Community of Madrid and the Madrid City Council.
