Madrid will host the 2nd International Tailoring Congress from March 13th to 15th, 2026. The event, to be held at the Costume Museum and Forbes House Madrid, aims to highlight tailoring and shirtmaking as crafts deeply rooted in tradition, artisanal excellence, and innovation. Advance booking is required.
The congress will bring together professionals and experts from the sector in a program focused on the challenges and opportunities in this field, with special attention to industry representation, sustainability in the textile industry, and the future of these trades. The main day will take place on Saturday, March 14, when most of the presentations and activities will be held.
Among the highlights is the exhibition “Tailoring, from the workshop to the street,” as well as the AES Awards ceremony and the gala dinner scheduled for the same day. With this event, Madrid once again hosts a specialized gathering that celebrates the cultural, creative, and professional value of contemporary tailoring.
