Madrid is expanding its cultural offering with the opening of the Banksy Museum , a unique space dedicated to the work of the enigmatic British artist. The museum, located in a former garage in the Arganzuela neighbourhood, houses the largest collection of Banksy pieces in Europe.

The museum houses more than 170 life-size reproductions of the artist’s most iconic works, including “ Girl with a Balloon .” Many of these original creations no longer exist in their original locations , either because they were destroyed, cleaned up or removed from the streets of cities such as London, Paris, New York or conflict zones such as Palestine.

The exhibition includes murals, oil paintings, prints and installations that immerse visitors in Banksy's critical universe and invite them to reflect on recurring themes in his work, such as inequality, war, the environment and social satire.

The museum is located in a former garage converted into a 2,000 m² space that maintains its industrial essence. The discreet entrance is marked only by a traffic sign modified in the artist's style, reflecting the philosophy of anonymity and surprise that characterizes Banksy's work.

Madrid joins cities such as Barcelona, Paris, Brussels and New York, which already have headquarters for the Banksy Museum , a project that seeks to bring the art of the famous urban artist to audiences around the world.

Tickets cost 14 euros for the general rate and 11 euros for the reduced rate. Tickets can be purchased at the ticket office or on the museum's official website.
