The Santa Maria de la Cabeza market hosts two free creative workshops in June.
2025/06/10
During this month of June, the Santa María de la Cabeza Market becomes a space for creativity and citizen participation with two free workshops for everyone. Painting and design go hand in hand in these activities, inviting you to enjoy art in a friendly and accessible environment.
Fan Painting Workshop – Saturday, June 14
The first of the workshops will take place on Saturday, June 14, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. It's a fan-painting workshop where attendees can personalize their own fan with brushes and colors. No previous experience is required; just a willingness to participate and let your imagination run wild. The activity will be held in the market hall (ground floor, entrance on Paseo de Santa María de la Cabeza) and is completely free. Places are limited and will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
Jewelry Making Workshop – Saturday, June 21
A week later, on Saturday, June 21st, at the same time and location, a jewelry-making workshop with beads, threads, and seed beads will be held. Designed for all ages, this workshop seeks to encourage personal expression through the design of unique pieces. As with the previous workshop, no prior registration is required and participants are welcome until capacity is reached.
Both initiatives offer a perfect opportunity to celebrate the start of summer with cultural and participatory activities in an iconic space in the neighborhood.
