2025/09/11

On Sunday, September 21 , Avenida del Planetario (on the corner of Meneses Street) will once again come alive with the latest edition of the Planetario Producers Market , a must-see for lovers of fresh, sustainable, and local produce.

Organized by the Madrid City Council, through the Department of Economy, Innovation, and Finance, this market promotes conscious and responsible consumption, offering citizens the opportunity to purchase food directly from those who grow, raise, or process it.

Kilometer 0 and local economy

At more than 50 stalls, visitors can find a wide variety of local products: cheeses, oils, honey, preserves, organic eggs, bread, craft beer, chickpeas, vegetables, Iberian products, wines, olives, empanadas, fresh pasta, and jams.
By eliminating intermediaries, food arrives fresher and tastier, with a more equitable distribution and a reduction in CO₂ emissions, while supporting the local economy.

A fixed date on the Madrid calendar

The market is held on the first and third Sunday of each month, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., in an accessible area well connected by public transport.

  • EMT buses : 148, 156 (Tierno Galván-Planetario stop and South Bus Station)
  • Metro : line 6 (Arganzuela-Planetario and Méndez Álvaro)
  • Renfe Cercanías : C-1, C-5, C-7 and C-10 (Méndez Álvaro station)

With each edition, the Planetario Producers Market consolidates its position as a benchmark for those seeking authentic, sustainable, and top-quality products in a friendly, family-friendly environment.
