2026/04/07
The 21 Distrititos art and family festival returns for its sixth edition on April 25th and 26th. On Saturday the 25th, it will be held at the Vicálvaro Fairgrounds, and on Sunday the 26th at the El Espinillo Auditorium in Villaverde, with free admission from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Organized by 21 DISTRITOS, the cultural development program of the Madrid City Council's Department of Culture, Tourism, and Sport, the festival offers a weekend packed with activities for the whole family: object theater, circus, music, animated films, creative workshops, traditional games, astronomy, and much more. All activities will take place outdoors, taking advantage of the spring weather.
Among the participating companies and artists are Chico-Trópico, with its mobile collective recording studio; tocajugarMADERA, with giant-sized traditional games; La Cresta, with the Chaos Lab sound installation; and Cuentos Danzantes, which will bring dance and nature to young children with 'Arborecer'. There will also be space for body marbling, textile recycling, astronomical observation in collaboration with the Autonomous University of Madrid Foundation, and the screening of animated short films in the world's smallest cinema caravan, presented by PUCK Cinema.
All the programming and updated information can be found on the festival's official website .
