CIUDAD LINEAL CELEBRATES SAN ISIDRO WITH THE "LOOKING FOR THE MOST CHULAPONA" TAPAS ROUTE

The Ciudad Lineal Municipal Council is once again adding flavor to the San Isidro festivities with the latest edition of the gastronomic route 'Searching for the Most Chulapona' , a culinary event that turns the district's bars into the setting for a delicious tapas competition, from April 9 to May 9 .

This month, on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays , residents and visitors can enjoy original and creative tapas accompanied by a drink for just €3.50 in different areas of the district. The tour begins in Costillares and Colina (April 9, 10, and 11) , continues in Concepción and Quintana (April 23, 24, and 25) , and ends in Ventas and Pueblo Nuevo (May 7, 8, and 9) . Some restaurateurs will even extend their offerings over the weekend.

Each establishment participates in a competition that will award the best tapas from each neighborhood. A professional jury, composed of chefs and municipal council staff, will evaluate aspects such as flavor, presentation, and originality of the proposals.

But the real highlight will come on May 15th, San Isidro Day , with the grand finale in Calero Park . From 12:00 to 3:00 PM and from 5:30 to 8:30 PM , you can try the seven best tapas of the competition at an event open to the public, with live music, children's workshops , and the best festive atmosphere.

In the afternoon, a second specialized jury will select the winning tapa from all of Ciudad Lineal, awarding the title to the "most chulapona" of 2025. A delicious end to a route designed to indulge, discover new flavors, and celebrate Madrid's patron saint in style.
