
CIUDAD LINEAL CELEBRATES JUNE WITH A POWERFUL CULTURAL AGENDA: MUSIC, THEATRE, DANCE AND SHOWS FOR ALL AUDIENCES

The Ciudad Lineal district kicks off the month of June with a vibrant cultural program packed with free shows in its main venues. From the Carmen Laforet Auditorium to the San Juan Bautista Cultural Center , culture takes center stage with concerts, plays, children's activities, dance, and musical tributes that celebrate artistic diversity and the neighborhood's identity.
Carmen Laforet Auditorium: from tangos and experiments to scientific laughter
Located on Jazmín Street, the Carmen Laforet Auditorium opens its doors every weekend to offer a curated selection of shows for all audiences. Highlights include:
- “Tango al cuadrado” with Romina Bianco and Juan Esteban Cuacci (Friday the 13th), an exciting musical journey to Buenos Aires.
- The family show “Professor Bromato” (Saturday 28th), where science and humor combine to surprise young and old.
- There will also be comic theater ( TEC Talk ), traditional Spanish music with Sergio Amaro , and children's plays such as El latir del bosque .
San Juan Bautista: world music, dance and theater with history
On San Nemesio Street, the San Juan Bautista Cultural Center presents a program marked by the fusion of disciplines and cultures. Some of the highlights include:
- “Arrebol” (Friday the 13th), a recital with Latin American sounds that travels from bolero to tango.
- “Life is dance” (Friday 20th), a multidisciplinary stage proposal by the Kungfusión company.
- The month closes with the jazz piano of Manuel Borraz and the poetic and tango show “Loca” by Jimena González (Saturday 28th).
La Elipa Cultural Center
At 39 Santa Felicidad Street, the La Elipa Cultural Center presents a very varied program. Here are some of the performances:
- “ Perfect Strangers ” (Thursday 12), by director Emiliano Calcagno, a theatrical work with a dinner and a game surrounded by secret lives.
- “ Entretangos ” (Friday the 13th) captivates us with dance, melodies and popular singing from the neighborhoods of the city of Buenos Aires.
- “ Ginel ” (Friday 27th), a fusion concert that combines elements of soul, reggae, pop, indie and funk with a touch of Latin rhythms.
Prince of Asturias Cultural Center
- “ Behind the scenes ” (Friday 6), a comedy that takes place on a television set and mixes reality and fiction.
- “ Martin’s Journey ” (Saturday 21st), a children’s audiovisual theater with puppets and cartoons.
- “ Passion in Oil ” (July 8-19), Lola Salinas proposes associating each color with an emotion and discovering how they influence our lives and perception of the world.
