CIRQUE DU SOLEIL RETURNS TO MADRID WITH THE SHOW "ALEGRÍA" TO CELEBRATE ITS 25TH ANNIVERSARY

The Canadian company Cirque du Soleil returns to Madrid with “Alegría”, one of its most emblematic productions, to mark the 25th anniversary of its first performance in Spain. The show will be presented completely renewed at the Puerta del Ángel Stage from December 4 to February 16, 2025.

Since 1994, “Alegría” has captivated more than 14 million spectators in 255 cities in 40 countries . In this new version, “Alegría” mixes tradition and innovation, revising its soundtrack with new musical arrangements that combine electronic and rock sounds with acoustic and orchestral elements. All of this is perfectly synchronized with the impressive acrobatics of the artists.

The show takes place in a fictional kingdom that has lost its King, where the old order is confronted by a young movement full of hope and renewal. The story is guided by Mr. Fleur, a jester turned heir to the throne, who takes the audience through a story full of humor, magic and emotion.

In addition, the production includes a cast of 53 acrobats, clowns, musicians and singers, surreal costumes, vibrant sets, exciting stunts and an atmosphere that evokes a fantasy world .
