Municipal Sports Day and European Sports Week will join forces on September 28
On 28 September 2024 , Municipal Sports Day will be celebrated coinciding with the European Week of Sport , joining forces to promote physical activity among citizens. Both initiatives share common objectives such as encouraging the practice of sport, preserving health, promoting social inclusion and equal opportunities, as well as preventing early school leaving.
This event aims to be an inclusive and transversal space, hosting a wide variety of sporting activities for people of all ages and physical conditions. In line with its universal approach, participants will be able to experience adapted sports disciplines and enjoy traditional games that are part of the cultural heritage.
The aim of this celebration is to reinforce the values of sport and highlight its importance as a tool for a healthier life and a more equal society.
