CASA DECOR 2025: THE GREAT INTERIOR DESIGN EVENT RETURNS TO CHAMBERÍ
2025/04/01

Casa Decor, the most important interior design, architecture, design, and art event in Spain and Europe, will reopen its doors from April 3 to May 18, 2025, to celebrate its 60th edition. This time, the iconic exhibition will be housed in a historic building located at 33 Calle de Sagasta, in Madrid's Chamberí district.

Since its founding in 1992, Casa Decor has been a leading platform in the sector, bringing together designers, commercial firms, and the general public in an event unique in its scale, duration, and media relevance. For six weeks, visitors will be able to tour a unique building converted into a showcase of innovation and creativity, where more than 200 exhibitors and fifty spaces will showcase the latest trends in interior design.

The building chosen for the 2025 edition is an architectural gem constructed between 1899 and 1901 by Bilbao-based architect Luis de Landecho Jordán y Urríes . It is a representative work of late 19th-century Madrid eclecticism , influenced by neo-Gothic rationalism. Its 7,141 m², spread over several floors, offer a broad canvas for the creativity of the participating designers , who will transform its more than 50 spaces into true works of art.

One of the main attractions of this building is its façade, which stands out for its elegant composition of red brick and white-plastered stone, crowned by octagonal turrets and a trapezoidal French-style central viewing platform. Its 90 balconied windows and two light wells guarantee natural lighting that will enhance the visual impact of each decorative design.

In addition to design and architecture, the Casa Decor 2025 experience will include a first-class culinary offering. For the second consecutive year, Rosewood Villa Magna will be the catering service, offering a vibrant and sophisticated culinary offering that will complement the event's exclusive atmosphere.

With its return to Chamberí, Casa Decor reaffirms its ties to a district that has hosted seven previous editions, consolidating its position as an essential meeting place for lovers of interior design and avant-garde trends. The countdown has begun, and everything is ready for this 60th edition to make history in the world of design.
