DNA FORUM Art/ Design / Networking

On April 27, the ADN FORUM was held, as its own acronym indicates, ART, DESIGN, NETWORKING. A project organized by Gabo Castillo Admadé, project director, in which the collaboration with Todo Está en Madrid was presented.

The Influence of Color was the theme chosen for the event held on April 27 at the Cosentino City Madrid showroom at Paseo La Castellana 116. At this event we announced our collaboration with Todo esta en Madrid and Madrid Capital de Moda .

Its panel of speakers included names such as Patricia Bustos, a renowned Madrid designer who works internationally designing pieces of furniture, named AD100 for the last four years and several national and international awards behind her. Francesca Heathcote Sapey, partner of the Teresa Sapey & Partners studio, named for developing projects that provide unique experiences worldwide. Enrique del Rio, founder and CEO of We Collect, an art gallery with offices in Madrid and Barcelona that represents mid-career and emerging national and international artists. Anke Sohn, Head of Global Marketing at Axor, a luxury brand from the Hansgrohe group, which develops bathroom collections with renowned designers such as Philipe Starck, Antonio Citterio and Barber & Osgerby.

Enrique del Rio, told us about the influence of color in the world of art and how he selects the artists who exhibit in his gallery. Likewise, Francesca Sapey, made a tour, through her own projects, recounting the importance of integrating color in a playful and fun way. For her part, Patricia Bustos, with special sensitivity, spoke to us about her obsession with the color pink, her evolution with this color through her projects and how for her the color represents light. Anke Shon told us about the latest collection released by the firm Axor, which is the first in color, and about her relationship with designers in the design process.

The curator of the contemporary art exhibition was in charge of David Magán, born in Madrid, where his work focuses on sculpture and installation, where the use of color, transparencies and light make the leading work. David is an expert in methacrylate with unparalleled precision and flexibility techniques. Kamilo Morales, a Cuban national, offered us large-format works from his previous exhibitions “Siete Mares y una Pecera” and his pictorial essay “Ni chino ni japonés” that questions far-reaching issues, such as cultural identity.
