CHRISTMAS ACTIVITIES FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY IN THE TETUAN DISTRICT

The Christmas spirit shines once again in the streets of Tetuán with a cultural programme designed for the whole family. The District Municipal Board has prepared a wide variety of activities that will fill the main spaces of the neighbourhood with joy and tradition, from Plaza de la Remonta to Azca.

Among the most notable events is the traditional Three Kings Parade , which will parade down Bravo Murillo Street on January 4. In addition, the district's cultural centers and markets will host multiple Christmas events such as exhibitions, musical performances, and theater shows.

SPORTS ACTIVITIES

Golden Triangle Municipal Sports Center

• Parkour initiation. From November 11th to December 20th.

Antonio Diaz Miguel Municipal Sports Center

• Functional Training Team Tournament. Three categories: Women, Mixed Intermediate and Mixed Advanced. Tuesday 17th, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
• Third edition of the Tetuán district Christmas Basketball Tournament. From Thursday 18th to Saturday 21st.
• Waterpolo exhibition and friendly matches. Saturday 21st, 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.
• II Aquatic Christmas Challenge: (bouncy castles in the pool): Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd.
• III Christmas Gala for Rhythmic Gymnastics Schools. Sunday 22nd from 9:00 a.m.
• VIII Tetuán District Swimming Tournament. Sunday 22nd from 16:30 h.

• Concert “LET’S SING TOGETHER AT CHRISTMAS”. Performed by the Virgen de la Paloma Choir.
• Friday 13th, 8:00 pm: Parish of St. Ignatius of Loyola.
• Saturday 21st, 8:00 pm: Parish of Our Lady of Victories.

 

COOKING WORKSHOPS

• “ROSCÓN DE REYES” with Eduardo Úrculo. Duration: 120 min. Thursday 12th, Friday 13th, 11:30am. Tuesday 17th and Wednesday 18th, 5:00pm.

 

CHILDREN'S CHRISTMAS WORKSHOPS

• Christmas toy workshop: “Create your own dolls”. Wednesday 18th and Thursday 19th from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m.
• Christmas ball workshop. Friday 20th, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
• Lantern and Christmas house workshop. Monday 23rd, from 11:00 to 13:30.
• Christmas toy workshop: “Create your own robot”. Monday 30th, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
• Christmas card creation workshop from your smartphone. Monday 23rd and Thursday 26th, from 10:00 to 12:00.

 

Tickets for the shows will be free and will be handed out in person starting on the Tuesday before the event. The streets of Tetuán will be filled with shows, music and tradition in an unforgettable Christmas for all residents.
