Registration is now open for the 45th Villa Madrid Rock Awards.

The Madrid City Council, through its Department of Culture, Tourism, and Sport, has announced the 45th edition of the Rock Villa de Madrid Awards. It is in collaboration with Radio 3 and the Society of Artists, Performers, and Performers of Spain (AIE).

It is open to musicians and groups of all genres and ages, born or residing in Spain. The awards ceremony, as every year, will take place during the San Isidro Festival and is part of the program.

The prizes are cash: 6,000 euros for first prize, 3,000 euros for second prize, and 1,000 euros for third prize. Participants will also be eligible for prizes awarded by the collaborating entities: the Captain Demo-Radio3 Award, participation of the artist or group selected by RTVE/Radios 3 in Radio3 Concerts; and the AIE Award for Best Performer, participation of the artist or group selected by Aie in the first AIEnRuta Artists Circle 2026, from January to June.

It's one of the capital's most iconic cultural events. This year marks its 45th anniversary, and its longevity makes it a key platform for independent music in Spain. It had 1,000 entries for the last edition. This year, it updated its image and debuted a new logo to reflect new trends and strengthen its connection with contemporary music.
